What is TestFlight and why do I need it?
TestFlight is Apple's official app for installing apps that are still in beta. Apps in the App Store have gone through Apple's full review process. Beta apps go through TestFlight first, which lets developers ship updates to testers faster while still respecting iOS sandboxing and privacy rules. You can install up to 10,000 testers per beta app.
Do I need to give you my email?
No. The TestFlight invite is a public link, so anyone with the link can join up to our 10,000-tester limit. We never see your email through TestFlight.
Will my data transfer to the App Store version when it launches?
Yes. When mAI Coach moves out of beta into the App Store, you'll be able to install the public version on top of the TestFlight build with no data loss. All your workouts, schedules, nutrition logs, and progress carry over because they're tied to your account (or stored locally if you've opted out of cloud sync).
Can I use it on my iPad?
Yes. mAI Coach runs natively on iPad with a layout that adapts to the larger screen. Install TestFlight on your iPad and tap the invite link from there.
How long are TestFlight builds valid for?
Apple expires every TestFlight build after 90 days. We push fresh builds well before that, so you'll get an automatic update notification in TestFlight when a new build is available. If your build does expire, just open TestFlight and tap "Update" on mAI Coach.

Why do you need my email for Android but not iOS?
Google Play's internal testing track requires us to explicitly allow-list each tester's Google account before they can install the beta. Apple's TestFlight works with public links and doesn't require that. We use your email only to add you to the Play Console tester list. Nothing else.
How long until I'm added?
Usually within 24 hours, often within a few. We add testers manually in batches. Once you're added, click the opt-in link in your confirmation and you can install from the Play Store immediately.
Play Store says I'm not eligible after I clicked the opt-in link. What's wrong?
Two things to check: (1) you might still be in the queue and not added yet (wait up to 24 hours from when you submitted); (2) you might be logged into a different Google account on Play Store than the one you submitted. Switch accounts in the Play Store app, then retry the link.
Why isn't mAI Coach on the public Play Store yet?
Google requires new developer accounts to run a closed beta with at least 12 testers for 14+ days before publishing to the public Play Store. We're working through that runway right now. Once we're past the gate, mAI Coach moves to the public Play Store and Android installs become a one-tap affair like iOS.
Can I use it on my Android tablet?
Yes. mAI Coach is a single Android build that runs on phones and tablets. Sign in with the same Google account on your tablet and you'll find it in the Play Store after opt-in.
General Questions
Is it really free?
Yes, free during the entire beta period. Every feature is available with no tiers, no paywalls, no trial limits. After the beta we'll introduce a pricing model, but anything beta testers have logged stays accessible.
What happens to my data if I leave the beta?
From Settings → Account you can export a complete backup of all your data (workouts, templates, schedules, PRs, nutrition, meal plans) as a portable file. You can also delete your account from the same place, which removes everything from our servers within 30 days.
How do I report a bug or request a feature?
Email mAI.Coach.app.contact@gmail.com with the details. For bugs, include the device + OS version + a short description of what you were doing. For feature requests, tell us what problem you're trying to solve. We read everything.
Does it work offline?
Everything except AI chat and meal plan generation works fully offline: workouts, nutrition logging, recovery tracking, programs, calendar, and exports are all available with zero signal. Data syncs back to the cloud when you reconnect.
When does the public launch happen?
We're targeting public launch on both stores once we've hit Google's 12-testers-for-14-days closed beta gate and shipped any breaking bugs surfaced during beta. The TestFlight + Internal Testing tracks will stay open through that period; beta testers transition automatically.
